KoskiPly Hardwook Oak

Oak surfaced thin plywood is a classc and sophisticated choice for applications like jewellery, hobby and skilled handcrafts.

The thickness of the surface veneer is 0.6 mm, unlike birch-surfaced boards, and the board can withstand light sanding. Oak surface veneer is a raw, jointseamed veneer. Slight adhesive streaks may be visible on the jointed surface and light sanding may be necessary in some applications.

Plywoods core veneers are made from Finnish birch. Like any other natural wood material, there might be some some knots or knotholes and other natural characteristics. The surface can be treated with wax, oiling or other surface treatment.

KoskiPly Hardwood is cross-banded thin plywood, made from birch veneers and faced with a hardwood veneer on the both surfaces. The high quality panel combines classic, sophisticated and beautiful hardwood face veneer and the familiar, easy to work birch core. Surface veneer is a nominal 0,6mm thick to allow sanding. The surface veneer is jointed and small variations may occure in the panel.

Manufactured using flex glue, KoskiPly Hardwood is also excellently suitable for laser cutting. Depending on the intended use, the hardwood surface can be left natural or it can be processed as required, for example through surface treatment.

Due to their beautiful surface, suitable applications for Hardwood products include furniture, musical instruments, and design and interior decoration products.
